Certified MVHR Systems for all PassivHaus projects
Thanks to the mechanical ventilation and heat recovery system, a building designed to Passivhaus design uses only minimal space heating to be comfortable to live in. It’s important for us to be involved at the earliest opportunity to ensure the MVHR system and ducting is designed inline with PassivHaus regulations. Whether you’re a self-builder, architect or consultant, we are happy to assist with your PassivHaus MVHR project.
PassivHaus MVHR enquiries
Upon your enquiry we’ll ask you to send copies of drawings along with information relating to structure, floor joists and steel beams etc. This will enable our design team to advise on the design and supply of the ductwork, to help achieve maximum air flow rates in compliance with PassivHaus regulations.
PassivHaus building terminology & standards
Developed in Germany in the 1990s, Passivhaus is a quality assured standard and methodology for low energy use buildings. The performance-based design criteria helps to create buildings which use around 90% less energy than standard UK buildings.
Passivhaus design seeks to reduce heating loss to a minimum as this is seen as the most cost-effective and most robust way of achieving a low carbon building.
